We had a lot of fun at Great Grandma Obray's house this last weekend. Poor Grandma is still recovering from breaking her back last month. She had surgery, was in the hospital for a week, then a rehab center for another 4 weeks. Only home two weeks, I was a bit worried our whole clan would be a little too much for her. She seemed to really enjoy herself though. Just so you know, that is Emmalee's picture smile. There is nothing wrong with her. That is just what she does when she sees the camera come out.
Emmalee LOVED the swing in the backyard, and the backyard, for that matter. We only have rocks in our backyard (they call it dessert landscaping :0)
As you can see here, Madison wasn't all that thrilled at the chance to drive the cart over to Grandma at Costco. Most kids would have jumped at the chance. I think it stressed Madison out. Lucky for her, the cart guy came and took it back at the end of our shopping trip so Mads was off the hook.

Grandma heard Eli talking about a loose tooth. I think it is a secret obsession of Grandma's, this need to yank people's teeth out. Eli really looks like he is enjoying it, doesn't he?

She tried and she tried, but the string kept slipping of the little tooth. After something like 15 min. of this, I finally told the two of them to stop.
Madison yelled at me Sunday morning. She saw this lizzard on the wall on the side of the house. I didn't realize they had lizzards in St. George. This guy was way bigger than the many we have in our backyard. I couldn't believe we got such a good picture from the safety of the living room, through the window and everything. Check out how long he was...

I even cut some of him off in this shot.
We left Sunday around 4 to head back home, arriving around midnight. It was kind of a crazy trip, but well worth it! I have missed my grandma so much this last year. It has been almost 2 since she has seen the kids. Glad we could go. I was sad we couldn't make it up to Salt Lake to see our family there, but it just wasn't in the budget this year. Maybe next.
