I started making
pettiskirts. They are luscious piles of fluff that twirl and whirl and surround their little wearers with such
fluffety goodness they can't help but smile!!! These babies are made with over 60 yards of chiffon, ruffled and sewn until you want to roll over and cry. But the end product is so worth it!!!

Madison is begging me to make her one. Eli too, just kidding! I am not kidding when I tell you that every child that has entered my home can't help but pick up a pile of marshmallow ruffles and try to run off with them! It has been so fun to see the piles of baby pink, brown, hot pink, zebra stripe and black in various spots around the craft room(also known as the kitchen/family room ;0)

By the way, we just had rain. This is not my little girl making a mess, not that it is beyond her to cause a
raucous.

These are my
Petti-panties! The
pettiskirts are very see-through and I needed something the little girls could wear underneath. I made some little shorts for
Emmers, but thought I would give shirring them a try. Here is what I got! Don't you want a pair too!

This darling dress began it's life as a men's Tommy Hilfiger button up shirt. I cut the collar off, shirred the top half, and sewed the
sleeves back on with a little more elastic than when they started. I can't believe it worked!!! It was so easy too. The dress is
absolutely darling on Emmalee and it is so
feminine, I just can't believe it was a man's shirt! I got the idea on this blog:
