Eli-ana Jones is 8!!!

Eli has a small party with his new friends. We had an Eli-ana Jones party! We sent wrapped mummies, broke open treasure rocks, practiced field combatives, had to walk through piles of snakes, and finally pass the test of courage by eating some really bad stuff! It was all to prove we were brave enough to find the lost treasure of the Zumabauzi tribe.
The kids were all very brave! Eli got to decorate his own cake with all of his Indiana Jones guys. He got many remarks on what a thorough job he did.
Our friends Jaden Lee and his family came all the way from Gilbert for the party. We haven't seen them since we moved to Utah. It was a happy reunion.
They stayed after the party and played into the night.

Here is the lost treasure! We spray painted a Styrofoam ice chest and the kids carried it in on curtain rods. The treasure was giant jewels I cut out of 2x4's along with necklaces, bubble gum, and candy bags. Much better than piles of gold!!!
