My Quilts!!! Well.. kind of

These are the quilts I finished for Madison and Eli for Christmas. The quilts were their big presents from mom and dad. It was terribly difficult to quilt them only when the kids were at school or asleep. I would keep them hidden in the office(also known as the pile of junk) since no one goes in there(my last room to unpack since we moved in two and a half months ago). Each time I would spend 15 minutes trying to mangle the quilt frame-with quilt still attached-out the door and down the hall to the front room, by myself. The last three days before Christmas I got about 2-3 hours of sleep each night finishing them. The kids loved them and use them all the time so it was worth it for me!

I nearly choked when I saw your quilt for Madison -- I just barely started putting those exact same blocks together into a quilt for Scotty!!! I'm also adding blank setting squares appliqued with 30s print scotty dogs (from Keepsake Quilting) in between to make it a little bigger.

Did I ever say Thank You for getting me going to saturday quilting? You are awesome!
