I recently got a new sewing machine with some really fun stitches. After researching on ebay some of the custom boutique items that have been selling, I decided to give it a try myself. I recently made Emmie's blessing dress out of an old wedding dress I found. After that I had a new found confidence in my sewing abilities, mainly because it didn't just fall off her cute little body. I laid awake late one night dreaming up a cute little candy corn twirl skirt for my girl. Finally, I decided to get up and make it. It was my first attempt at a twirl skirt without a pattern. I learned a lot, like buy a pattern, and am ready for more. My sweet friend Amy is going to try her luck and asked me to make some skirts for her little girls. If all goes well, I will attempt to sell on ebay or etsy! Can't wait! If you know someone else in the mood for a good twirl, give me a call!!!
